The necessary annual and five-year service inspections for your Safe Transfer basket.
Annual Service Inspection
It is crucial to ensure that your Safe Transfer basket undergoes an annual service inspection. This can only be performed by trained specialists from a Safe Transfer-accredited service center! An annual service inspection is typically visually but involves replacement of certain parts:

• Compensator – MANDATORY TO BE REPLACED EVERY 12 months

• Fenders, top buoy – Recommended to be replaced every 12 months
- • Rope Sections, guiderope, topnet etc. – To be replaced in case of defects or visual wear and tear
Regular maintenance of these components is essential to guarantee the continued safe operation and longevity of your equipment.
Five-Year Service Inspection
In addition to the annual inspections, a more comprehensive service is required every five years. During this inspection, the following procedure and components will need to be replaced:

• Load-test & NDT –MANDATORY TO BE PERFORMED BY ACCREDITED 3. PARTY

• Lifting Sling – MANDATORY TO BE REPLACED EVERY 5 YEAR

• Compensator – MANDATORY TO BE REPLACED EVERY 12 months

• Fenders, top buoy – Recommended to be replaced every 12 months
